How can you make perfume last longer.

When selecting a perfume or fragrance, try opting for a special bottle that contains more concentrated levels of oils, and that you could retain for exceptional occasions. Source a fragrance that you really enjoy and find pleasantly aromatic, but with lower concentration levels and thus far less expensive. Alternating between the two, and utilising the concentrated perfume when a longer wearing scent is required, and the lesser concentrate at any other time, will extend the life of both your fragrances. Applying either of the fragrances should be done after lathering the body with body cream or lotion. This will help to set the fragrance on the skin, and less fragrance will be needed. If you have a matching body lotion and utilise the layering effect of using complementing aromas in your soaps and lotions, a lesser amount of perfume will be required. If matching creams, lotions and soaps cannot be found, then opt to make your own by adding similar aromatic oils to the applications to be used for the layering technique.

Perfumes and fragrances should also be stored in their original containers and packaging if possible and away from direct sunlight. They will last longer in a cool moist environment, but this does not mean that they should be stored in the refrigerator. Find a shaded area in your room or perhaps in a closet, to store the perfumes. If you have any perfumes that require application via a stopper or by opening the bottle completely, make the application swift and close the applicator or stopper as soon as possible thereafter to keep oxygen from entering. Avoid applying any scent to your hands, as they are washed often and used for other preparations. When spraying perfume, don’t apply the spray to your clothing, assuming this will make it last longer. If anything, atomise a spray in the air and rather allow the mist to settle in your hair.
