Spend eight days adventuring amid the splendor of the Grand Canyon and beyond. If Arizona is defined by one geologic feature, it is canyons. Canyons of every shape and size form a remarkable landscape that is more captivating and varied than we could have ever imagined. Our trip leaves imagination behind, offering an up-close adventure as grand as our first destination, and plenty of time to explore the area beyond this quintessential American landmark. Our journey begins with two days exploring in the Grand Canyon. Hike below the rim on trails that lead to awe-inspiring views of this spectacular 300-mile-long gorge. Paddle Lake Powell’s emerald-colored waters free of tides, waves or currents, and hike in its twisting sandstone slot canyons. Explore Monument Valley’s iconic buttes, whose landscapes form a more picturesque image of the American Southwest than perhaps any other. Our adventure culminates amidst the mystery of hundreds of ancient Anasazi ruins in beautiful Canyon de Chelly, where our local Navajo guides weave tales of the canyon’s inhabitants. Their stories reveal a beauty and history of canyon country that is unforgettable.
