Spend nine days hiking and exploring among picturesque landscapes in Provence.
Provence is a work of art. Great painters like Cézanne, Picasso, and Matisse found inspiration in the bright lavender fields, ancient olive groves, breathtaking mountain passes, and sun-drenched hilltop towns. But the region’s varied landscapes are more than just easy on the eyes, they’re also an excellent place to seek adventure alongside top-notch guides and like-minded explorers.
Our journey takes us from Avignon to the world-renowned wine region of Gigondas. Visit the Papal Palace in Avignon and then hike to Les Baux-de-Provence. In Roussillon, follow the Ochre Trail, soaking in the deep reds, bright yellows, and forest greens along the way. Hike on Mont Sainte-Victoire, celebrated for its appearances in famous paintings by Cézanne. Stroll past tree-lined streets, lively outdoor markets, and charming cafés in Aix-en-Provence. Nearby Marseille, we kayak the Mediterranean mini fjords of Calanques National Park. Each day’s adventure is countered with a chance to enjoy the sensorial pleasures of France: farm-to-table Provençal cuisine and world-class wine and olive oil tastings. It is truly a dream come true.
