Day 1: Tokyo

Day 2: Tokyo

Get your bearings with an orientation walk before enjoying free time to explore buzzing Tokyo. Opt to check out Yoyogi Park, Asakusa shrine, quirky Harajuku, Shibuya Crossing, or explore the city's myriad shops and cafés.
Day 3: Tokyo/Takayama
Travel to picturesque Takayama and take in the quaint streets of the old town – lined with sake breweries and craft shops – on a CEO-led orientation walk. Enjoy the rest of the day to explore the area. In the evening, kick back and relax in a traditional inn – complete with tatami floors and Japanese futons.
Day 4: Takayama/Kyoto
Board a train to Japan's imperial capital. Arrive in Kyoto and spend the rest of the day discovering this historic city. In the evening, opt to pick up a local brew and chill out riverside or check out one of Kyoto's many bars.
Day 5: Kyoto

Day 7: Kyoto/Hiroshima

Start place: Kyoto

Travel to Hiroshima and opt to visit the Peace Park and Museum to learn more about the tragic history of this city.

End place: Hiroshima

Day 8: Hiroshima-shi

Start place: Hiroshima

Take a ferry to the sacred island of Miyajima to see the famous floating torii gate and meet the friendly local deer. Opt to go for an easy hike around Mt Misen, and be sure to sample some oysters – a regional specialty. Please note the floating Torii Gate will be under construction from June 2019 to August 2020.

End place: Hiroshima

Day 9: Hiroshima-shi/Osaka

Start place: Hiroshima

Osaka has heaps to offer including Osaka Castle Park, Shinsaibashi shopping street, and the Dotombori Bridge. Osaka is a unique culinary destination – be sure to try "takoyaki" the city's famous squid snack or opt for a group meal of "kushikatsu."
Board a train to Osaka, one of Japan's culinary capitals. Enjoy free time in this diverse city. Don't miss the chance to try takoyaki, one of the city's best-loved street foods.

Get out and explore the city. Opt to tour a ramen museum, visit the Osaka castle, or browse Umeda's many shops. Be sure to experience Osaka's buzzing nightlife on a final night out with the group.
