Yellowstone Family Adventure
Spend six family-filled days exploring America’s first national park.
Yellowstone National Park is home to a wide range of otherworldly landscapes. The park draws visitors from around the world for its impressive display of erupting geysers, incredible rainbow-colored hot springs and gurgling mud pits. Arizona Ultimate Adventure – Grand Canyon & Beyond
Spend eight days adventuring amid the splendor of the Grand Canyon and beyond.
If Arizona is defined by one geologic feature, it is canyons. Canyons of every shape and size form a remarkable landscape that is more captivating and varied than we could have ever imagined. Our trip leaves imagination behind, offering an up-close adventure as grand as our first destination, and plenty of time to explore the area beyond this quintessential American landmark.
Our journey begins with two days exploring in the Grand Canyon. Hike below the rim on trails that lead to awe-inspiring views of this spectacular 300-mile-long gorge. Paddle Lake Powell’s emerald-colored waters free of tides, waves or currents, and hike in its twisting sandstone slot canyons. Explore Monument Valley’s iconic buttes, whose landscapes form a more picturesque image of the American Southwest than perhaps any other. Our adventure culminates amidst the mystery of hundreds of ancient Anasazi ruins in beautiful Canyon de Chelly, where our local Navajo guides weave tales of the canyon’s inhabitants. Their stories reveal a beauty and history of canyon country that is unforgettable.

Capitol Reef & Escalante Hiking
This 7-day adventure provides a feeling of remoteness and ruggedness unmatched in the Lower 48.
Capitol Reef is a treasured gem of the national park system. Located in the heart of Utah’s red rock country, this remote territory was the last place in the continental United States to be mapped. Now, travelers from all over the world come to Capitol Reef to explore the stunning cliffs, canyons and domes that make this area a true geological playground.
Our hiking routes, personally selected by REI Adventures' top guide, Steve Kasper, are decidedly off the beaten path. Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument's 1.9 million acres are filled with natural wonders, from the wide open cliffs and terraces of Grand Staircase to the more intimate narrows of the Escalante River canyons. We retrace an abandoned pioneer trail across a vast slickrock wilderness, hike past cliff dwellings and squeeze our way through some of the least traveled slot canyons in the monument. Evenings are spent in relaxation and comfort, reflecting upon the perfection of one of nature’s wildest playgrounds.

Scenic hikes, panoramic views and plenty of adventure; this 6-day trip is a gem for lovers of the island life.
Washington's spectacular San Juan Islands are a nature-lover's paradise. Great snowcapped peaks rise all around as scores of marine mammals and shorebirds bask on the craggy coastline. Whales and dolphins feed in the protected waters while hikers, cyclists and paddlers enjoy the gentle pace of island life.
Our journey highlights the best of the San Juan Islands. Take scenic hikes to panoramic views of the surrounding islands and peaks, and bike the quiet back roads of Orcas Island to reach the highest peak in the San Juans. Kayak in search of seals, sea lions, porpoise and more. Enjoy an unforgettable whale watching tour on one of the islands' most environmentally friendly boats as we search for the Orca whales that call the area home. Dine on locally-sourced, organic meals prepared fresh daily by our guides throughout the trip. Each evening, we indulge in deluxe camping and lodging conditions under the starry Pacific Northwest sky.
